A bus took us from the
airport to Alcobendas where the 3x3 Tournament will be held. We are staying at the Arturo Hotel, which is
one of two that all the teams are housed at.
We checked in and an hour later had lunch in the restaurant. After lunch both teams walked to the 3x3
venue for practice. We are fortunate to
be able to walk from our hotel to the venue in about 15 minutes. At 8:30 pm (20:30 as they say here) we all
reported for a meeting with FIBA explaining again all the rules and how things
will work. We ate supper at 21:00 in the
restaurant. Lights out at 23:00 for the
players and it wasn’t a problem because everyone is TIRED from the time change
and travel.
