Alcobendas ia a modern city close to Madrid. It is located to the Northeast of the capital. Both citiies are connected by the extensive bus and subway network of the Region of Madrid. Alcobendas has a population of 111,000.
System of Competition
All the competitions (teams, individual and mixed) have been scheduled to be held alternately, in five courts, during three days in morning and afternoon sessions.
3x3 Men's Team Competition
The 32 participating teams will compete in a first group stage distributed in 4 groups of 8 teams each. The first team of each group will advance to the quarterfinals, the second and third team of each group (8 teams) will play a preliminary heat, from which four teams will advance to the quarterfinals. The four quarterfinals winners will advance to semi-finals. The semi-final losers will play a game to determine the 3rd and 4th placed teams and the winners of both semi-finals will play the final game.
USA is in Group D with Italy, Spain, Germany, Turkey, Brazil, Hungary and Israel
